The main theme of this 3rd Fair Trade International Symposium (FTIS 2008) is the unprecedented expansion of Fair Trade, its implications and the challenges it presents to its actors.

The 3rd Fair Trade International Symposium will bring together – on the campus of Supagro in Montpellier (France) – researchers, Fair Trade operators, and all those who are interested in, and who wish to share their opinion and experience about Fair Trade.

The objectives of the symposium are to present the state of the art concerning studies on Fair Trade, to share information about on-going and coming research projects, and to confront opinions on the future prospects of Fair Trade.
